These are very helpful. I should go and check our appliances especially our water heater. Thanks for sharing!

I have just recently changed from hot to warm water, and I'm still here! I really had my reservations, but everything seems to be coming out the same!

You right about the water heater. Here in the tropical country, we can have warm water because of the sun.

This is all accurate. You have to make sure that you're checking everything at home because there are many ways that you could be saving energy. I think every home owner should check these!

We were checking our appliances on our electric meter one day. One by one we shut each one off and back on to see which item was using the most electric. The whole time it was going about 10beeps a second.. when we got to the hot water tank, and shut it off it almost stopped and went from like 10beeps a second to about 1 beep every 3-5 seconds.. It was insane the difference from one item.

I keep asking my landlord to turn my water heater up. It's too low. I'm wondering now if I should just keep it low. If it will help with my utility bill, I'd say so.

OMG! This post is perfect! I have been having so many issues with bills lately! Like gas bill being so high! Maybe the heater is the issue! I need to have someone look into it asap!

I don't do any of these. That is a big blessing though, because I never checked any of these until now!
